You’ll note that the Prado/GX is on this list but the FJ cruiser is not. They are based on the same chassis but it is not considered a Land Cruiser, FYI.

It’s been a while since Toyota dropped a Land Cruiser, too. I think they’re planning on riding the 200 until the end of the world (which looks to be a ma tter of months away at this point).

Dropping Land Cruisers on people isn’t okay. Somebody could get hurt.

I guess the FQ Dodge wannabes you see all over SE Asia are more a truck than an LC. Although there are pickup versions of LCs. I get tired of people labe ling these Dodge M37's in my searches.

It’s a slow descent, but there’s definitely a line somewhere around J12 where the sleek older boxes give way to “dear heavens put that bloated monstrosity on a diet”.

300 series is coming, its developed and being tweaked as we speak. I think 2022 MY is when they are dropping it, so this time next year.

The 80 series was know as “bubble” in venisula because of its blobbiness. Little did they know what was comming.

The current one looks like someone overinflated a Highlander and then blinged it out.

Certainly easy to see the resemblence, of course as rare as m37's FQ’s are even more rare here.

I go through a lot of photos in my searches and there are quite a few of those FQs out there, they might not be running, some appear to have been swapped etc... Cambodia officially used them as well as the South Vietnamese (with Mitsubishi built Jeeps) around the time of the Vietnam War and before so there could be a bunch in Cambodia. Of course I’ve seen quite a few blown up FQs, always look at the wheels first in that case, the Dodge wheels are much more sturdy. Here are some period pictures I found.

Will it come to the US under a Toyota badge? I thought the rumor was that the sales had dried up so much on the LC badge that it was going to be only a Lexus?

My guy says it's coming as a Toyota

How does this happen when they are using stock photos? Lazy.

300 series only a few months away (supposedly)

I wouldn’t count on it until next year as a 2022 model

We had a J95 in the shop Friday, customer wanted trailer wiring.

I like the J95. It’s such a frumpy looking practicality machine compared to the tight and sexy 3rd gen 4Runner we got . That sounds weird and I love the 3rd gen, but I love the “Toyota Pajero” vibe.
